EndureAir Systems, an IIT Kanpur-incubated startup focused on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and autonomous aerial technologies, has secured ₹30 crore under the Government of India’s Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) initiative for its SABAL-200 platform.
The SABAL-200 is a next-generation uncrewed aerial system with a 200-kg payload capacity, developed for heavy-lift operations and aimed at advancing India’s indigenous drone capabilities.
According to the company, the funding will be utilised for research and development, prototype enhancement, expansion of manufacturing capabilities, and strengthening field-testing infrastructure as it prepares to scale production and deployment.
Speaking to BusinessLine, Abhishek said the investment would accelerate the company’s product development roadmap. “This ₹30 crore will be primarily used towards R&D and prototype development, as well as to enhance our manufacturing capability,” he said.
